Welcome to Casiopeia!
Our name is inspired by the constellation "Cassiopeia", and is suggested by yeongJIN_COOL, taking advantage of the beginning of the word cassiopeia be very similar to the word/brand casio.
If you want to program for casio calculators you're in the right place! We are a young, but active community.

Finally we went back again, after some "downtime", our "summer vacation"!

Image

I moved the forum to a new and open source platform, phpbb, i also refreshed the image of the forum. Possibly there will be some broken links/images, but will be fixed as soon as possible. There is still much to do...

Of course, our site remains ad-free, nonprofit.

-What do you think of the new site? Do you have any suggestions?

Approaching again another school year, and we're here, with some future projects for casio calculators.

Thanks for all support of our members, but also planet-casio and omnimaga.

View the latest post New Site Retro Template!

I decided to added a new template to the site, inspired in medieval age.

Now this is the default website template.

The old template is also available, you can choose want do you prefer at the site bottom:

If you have an account you can also pick one style in General Settings.

I disabled the shoutbox (who had seen little activity) and I put something more useful in her place, a ajax widget to feature forum content.

View the latest post Doom finally arrives to casio Prizm!

Martin Poupe, managed to port the classic game Doom to the latest Casio model, Casio Prizm Fx-Cg10/20.

Due to calculator hardware limitations, the game runs a little slow on the calculator. However it's still a great job!

I let below a video of the game running on the emulator:

[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3vpPzlQS1I[/youtube]

Controls:
arrows - movement
[alpha] - fire
[exe] - use (open the door,...)
[^] - iddqd + idkfa :-)
[F1] ~ [F5] - weapon select
[Menu] - exit (the calculator will be in somehow wrong state, if menu is not working, try to turn it off and on)

View the latest post Casio Universal Wiki is open to public...

1, 2, 3, 4

Image

I've been working over the past few weeks, with the help of some members (ziqumu, catix, heyy!) in a project to create a Universal Wiki for casio Calculators.

There are already some wikis for casio calculators made by other communities, but it is a more ambitious project, cover all casio calculator models in 2 languages (english and french).

Any help will be welcome, and therefore come now open registration to the public, during the next 2 weeks.

The two versions of wiki are integrated, you only need an account.

Thank you in advance to all who want to join the project!

French Wiki Homepage: http://wiki.planet-casio.com/fr/Accueil

Ps: Feel free to leave your suggestions, report bugs...
