Re: Serial Number

Do you know where one can find such a ID on the Prizm?

Re: Changing the icons of default applications

Can't we just point to the address where the icon code is positioned and overwrite the specific values? The icons reside in the flash memory. It cannot be simply overwritten like RAM. Flash memory can be overwritten (that's how the OS is updated), but the process is risky. We do at least know the O...

Re: typo

I'm not American but I take English classes and Google is my friend... "Your information was updated" is the correct text. The word "information" has no plural, and by taking out the wrong extra "s" you must also change the verb from "were" to "was".

Re: FA-124 + fx9860: Addins don't appear

I'm not yet sure but I think a very-non-optimized memory (i.e. with lots of fragmentation) may sometimes produce read errors.

Re: FA-124 + fx9860: Addins don't appear

Did you try to optimize the storage memory before clearing it?

Re: FA-124 + fx9860: Addins don't appear

I have no fx9860 but if the things are like on the Prizm, then corrupt add-ins (where the checksum of the code section doesn't match what's in the header) won't appear on the Main Menu. Check the add-in you're trying to transfer is fine in the first place.

Something like this for the Prizm, with quality graphics, would be exceptionally awesome :)

Re: Ellipse

I still write eActs a lot (usually on fx-CG Manager) but I'm starting to use JPEG images to write more complicated formulas and equations. I can write them by hand and scan them, which is much easier and faster than doing ASCII art like I did with eActs (that's why WYSIWYG would be nice on the onlin...

Re: Eact Maker - Online eActivity Generator

Each strip has it's own Main Memory which has a maximum size of about 30 KB (because of eAct file size restrictions). How much a strip uses the Main Memory, it's the "strip size". That Main Memory is separate from the calculator's main one. I believe the Notes strip may be a special case. ...

Re: Ellipse

My eActs are in Portuguese and I guess they are too specific too. The best eActs are the ones you make for you to understand... for me, it has always been hard to understand eActs done by someone else (because people either write in a clean and organized language, which takes a lot of time to read, ...
