Re: Ellipse

I used to use the memos functionality a lot to store longs pieces of text, before I found about Notes strips. Now I use Notes for long texts and memos solely to navigate through files (you can open the memo list from outside of a file, on the eAct file browser).

Re: Eact Maker - Online eActivity Generator

I would like to have the feature nsg suggested too. It is maybe more important than the WYSIWYG. And when I say a WYSIWYG editor is important, it's not just a mere LaTeX editor - it's also the one that takes account the the calculator's screen and font dimensions. More or less like a on-page calcula...

Awesome. I suspect that may confuse the OS in some situations though. I'll test.

Now all we need is a WYSIWYG editor so we can see the result of the markup we write right in the web page :)

Re: Eact Maker - Online eActivity Generator

If the eActivity "multi-tasking" system, based on strips, works as I think it does, putting a notes strip inside a notes strip would be impossible: the OS would need to deal with four open "tasks" on its "multi-tasking" slots, that would be: two notes strips, one eAct p...

Re: Eact Maker - Online eActivity Generator

Do you mind if I send the link to the editor to every student in my class now, or do you prefer to have it go out of Beta first? :D

Do you plan to add support for Notes strips (and memos in lines)? I use these a lot.

Re: Serial port questions

Yeah... I have noticed that usually you must apply a bit of pressure, on the 3-pin female port of Prizms which never had that port used, in order for the connector to be fully inserted. That extra bit of pressure usually goes unnecessary as you use the port more. I don't know if this is true for oth...

If that doesn't happen when you don't do Comm_Open, then the answer is probably yes.

Re: fxMouse - Control your pc with casio fx9860

If we ever get to understand the USB port of the Prizm or the fx9860 then we may be able to make them act as a mouse/keyboard (meaning no extra software required on the PC to make it work).

Re: images on CG10

nsg wrote:Yes, it works too. I guess, live and learn -- i did not realize you implemented capture in your viewer

It's implemented in almost every place on the OS and on every situation that an add-in is waiting for a key with GetKey (that means, almost everywhere outside of certain games and situations).

Re: images on CG10

I believe you can also open a JPEG image with my image viewer, scroll to the part you want to save, then press Shift+7 to capture the image into a g3p file (make sure "Memory" is set as the Capture option on the Link screen).
