Questions about Eigenmath for the fx9860gII by diameter

Postby scientifix » Wed Aug 28, 2013 4:06 pm

Hi everybody,
I have some questions for you :

Is the CAS add in "eigenmath for fx9860gII by diameter" a real CAS ?
Does it work good (gives correct answer) ?

Can you also give me some feelings about the add in ?

Thank you a lot

The original topic about the Eigenmath port for the fx9860 is in Chinese in a Chinese forum, so I'm not sure if I understand it right... but I think diameter's port has issues with big numbers and at some point it also had issues factorizing, but I'm not sure if he solved it on the last release or not.
I'd like to test it but I can't find an emulator which will take add-ins... will have to look better.

What does exactly this add in (diff, integr, factor ...) ?
thanks

hey !
Is diameter still developing his CAS add in ?
Can some tell me exactly what this add in does ( diff, integr, factor...)?
does it work correctly or does it have bugs ( I heard about the problem with the integrals)? if yes can you tell me wath is not working ?
Thanks a lot !!

It can do diff, factor, etc... Check the pdf file (Eigenmath manual) that come with the add-in and you'll find a more complete answer.

Integrals are not working and computing large numbers have problems.

It probably doesn't do everything, because of memory limitations. My Prizm port can't do everything either for the same reason (also, CPU speed...). I don't know if he's still developing it or not.

What do you mean by that :
It probably doesn't do everything, because of memory limitations.

Are you saying it can not do any of the commands (diff, lcm, isprime ...)?

I don't know, you'll have to test yourself.

Hi,

I'm currently using the latest version of the Eigenmath for fx9860gII. I wonder if it can solve limits.
