Interaction with PC emulator

Postby PsySc0rpi0n » Mon Dec 30, 2013 1:12 am

How do we connect the calculator with the emulator in the PC?

For instance, I want to copy/transport the actual screen of the calculator into the PC either as a file that i can open with the emulator or as an image so that I can email it or what ever I need to do with it.

How can i do this?

With fx-9860 models you could use FA-124 (Link / Screen Capture) to get a screenshot.
With newer models "Screen Receiver" should do.

You mean from the PC software choose "Screen Receiver"? Or from the calculator?

Both. Start the "Screen Receiver" program on the PC and connect a fx-CG, fxCP330+ or fxCP400 (USB). The calculator's "Select Connections Mode"-dialog should pop up automatically. Select "Screen Receiver" from this dialog. After a short while, the calculator screenshot should appear in the PC-"Screen Receiver"-Window.
I'll be back!
