Something like: [LY755EZ MAIN] 000

Ok, so I assume you meant the screen after the one I quoted before you need:
[LY755DX MAIN] 111
Hope it helps - and will do the rest later

Perhaps you or Simon could share a link for the up-to-date INSIGHT add-in just in case please

Just when I finished above I pressed some diagnostic option which made me test each key and after this showed the following
Code: Select all
[Ver/ROM/RAM TEST]
OS Ver             OS    SUM 3B83 OK
02.02.0201       ABS   SUM 5D26 OK
DateO              USER SUM ----  NG
2015.1127.1657 FLSH W/R ---- OK
DateA              RAM  W/R ---- OK
2015.1116.2146

In case that also helps

That Cemetech post links to a version that works for ROM dumping (tested on OS 2.01 and 2.02).
I don't think there are plans to release a newer version, but I may be wrong.

Is there any risks posting this os dump publicly please. Would my user info and passwords be included with it (I'm pretty sure i have not set them up on this calculator but just would like to know please) and more importantly i have an add-in which I promised someone not to share without their permission - would it be included with these os dumps if it is currently on the calculator please? Would deleting this add-in be necessary and sufficient to make it not included in the os dump or is it not even necessary, i.e. not part of the os dump please. Let me know please. Sorry for all those questions

Yes, it is illegal unless permission is granted by Casio. ;)
But you can send download links via PM or email.

Would my user info and passwords be included with it?

If you follow the Cemetech description as is, then yes. All user data is included with the exception of storage memory content. All passwords are stored in plain text. But I have no use for this information, so I remove it before it is archived.

If you only want to dump the OS and boot code and no user data, then do this for M6.BKP:
Press [F1](ADDR), type in 80A00000 ... Press [F2](SAVE), type in 00160000 ... Name the PC file M6.BKP

i have an add-in which I promised someone not to share without their permission - would it be included with these os dumps if it is currently on the calculator please?

If I remember correctly, the storage area starts at address 0x80C00000, so it is not included in any dump.

Great news on the emulator (hopefully) thanks for sharing - do you know if I will be able to keep both versions - i.e. 2.00 and 2.02 - or any workaround to achieve that please?
