Old Introduce yourself!

Postby Dark Storm » Sun Jun 03, 2012 2:58 pm

Hello everybody !
I'm Dark Storm, a french Casio programer.
I come from Planet-Casio, but I should be present on Casio Scene to inform me and learn more things about Casio calculators.
I'm 15, live in Lyon, I'm a high school student, and an E.T. for my other friends :)

I program in Basic, but I prefer in C because the possibilities offered by this language are more numerous.
My first add-in, Metro Siberia II, can be downloaded on planet-casio, but I think I will upload it here.

What I like ? Programming, drawing, pixel art (Metro Siberia II's graphics are beautiful) and much more...

Finally, I'm not very good to learning English, so excuse me for that ;)

Welcome :)
It seems to me that Spanish calc programmers are rare because graphic calcs are prohibited in exams in Spain. Is that true ?

is true and false...
in some exams like physium and in some university courses exams is forbidden, and many students doesnt bought graphic calcs in university

but the spanishs doesnt like so much english, and there arent any spanish good calc community, this is why they were a few Spanish calc developers

also 60-70% of the spannishs with dev knowledge have a android, iphone, ipad, ipod, symbian or other mobile devices and prefer dev for other platform, because the are more documentation and hardware is better....

I have an urgent problem.

Everytime i try to connect it to my laptop i get the message :

" a connection cannot be established. Either the calculator is not connected or the connected calculator is not in the data receive standby mode"

I tried everything but nothing seems to work :(

Can anyone please help me?

Also a question, can i transfer text into the calculator?

hello hadawi2012, you can learn how to transfer files for your calculator in this pdf file:

http://casiokingdom.110mb.com/Installing_Add-in.pdf

to transfer text, you can copy the .txt files using the same way as addin files (documented in the pdf), and you also need a .txt reader addin

if you need .txt files bigger than 40kb -> http://www.casio-scene.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=300

if you want a .txt reader/editor on calc -> http://www.casio-scene.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=119 (max filesize 40kb per .txt file)

you can also install this 2 addins at the same time!
