Matrix problem casio cp400

Postby filipe » Thu Feb 20, 2014 2:09 am

Hello, i'm trying to solve the following problem with my new casio cp400, but i'm getting a error - "wrong argument type"

[ 20/3{cos(wt+teta+2pi/3).cos(100pit+2pi/3+alfa)+cos(wt+teta-2pi/3).cos(100pit + alfa-2.pi/3)+cos(wt+teta).cos(100tpi+alfa)}]
[-20/3{sin(wt+teta+2pi/3).cos(100pit+alfa+2pi/3)+sin(wt+teta-2pi/3)cos(100.pi.t + alfa -2pi/3)+sin(wt+teta)cos(100pit+alfa)}]
[ 10/3.{ cos.(2.pi/3 + 100.pi.t + alfa ) + cos(100.pi.t + alfa - 2.pi/3 ) + cos( 100.pi.t + alfa ) } ]

i'm sorry for the confusion but this is to long to put the screens. It is a 3x1 matrix, and i decide to equal the result to a x(t),y(t),z(t) variables matrix. Teta is a angle, pi is the 3,14 constant, w a angular velocity and t the time variable.
I would really appreciate some help with this problem in this new calculator.

Thank you.

Hello,

Possibly the error occurs because the calculator interprets the content inside {} as a list, inside a matrix. Try to replace these characters by normal parenthesis.
SiO2 + CaCO3 ----------> CaSiO3 + CO2

Hello,

actually i'm not using those parenthesis in the calculator, it's just a way of writing the matrix lines.

Thank you anyway.
