During the past month, Casio French Community Planet Casio organized a programming contest having as subject the future.

The contest had large participation, which in part was due to the fact that the participants can choose the calculator/platform and language (c, lua, basic). To decide the winners, games will receive voting. The official announcement of winners will be made at the end of this month (October) in the community Planet-Casio.

As a prize, they will offer 5 ClassPads 330 Plus to the best works!

You you can visit the work of participants here. There are very good games! :P

3 programs with the best ratings win a ClassPad 330 PLUS.

They are very nice games, the battle promises to be difficult!

Contest without prizes = low motivation of developers to participate (as we see in UCF Summer Contest)

Contest with prizes = more participation, but how will pay prizes, since this site does not generate any profit? (It would need a sponsor, which is hard to find, and even more for a small community :| )

For a bit inactive site, a contest would only attract a few visitors during that time, then probably abandon the site  .

However, if in the future the site will become active again (like in old times), this will be a hypothesis to consider!

It will be hard to put back site active again, because first is important to gain a good position in google for keywords like "casiopeia", "casio classpad games", "Casio fx9860 games"...

Yes, currently the site is so misplaced in search results that does not appear for keyword "casiopeia", the name of this site. If I install a SEO plugin, will help a bit but will not be enough...

And of course there are more casio calculators related sites in English already established with better rank in google, etc...

The number of daily unique visitors (guests+registed users) is very small - 30/40. I can affirm without doubt that at this time the site is almost dead, we may have a maximum of 10 active registered users.

Maybe in future, if casio release a new touch calculator casiopeia.net earn more movement, who knows?
