Getting the text on the Screen - fx-9750gii

Postby heyyy » Thu Nov 16, 2017 8:38 pm

Hey there! I made a small game for my casio fx-9750gii where i use "Locate" for getting text displayed on the screen. But that means, that i have to use if statements everytime i want to know, if something is colliding. I know, that there is something like "pxltest", but its only for graphing applications. So my question is: Is there something similar for checking the text content on the screen?

I know that there is a Snake game for this calculator. Maybe you should read a bit of it's code and try to understand it? But your solution isn't that bad, because if there is only one moving object, you just have to check all four directions for colision.
