Postby Casimo » Fri Apr 19, 2013 4:34 pm

Hey helder7,
Why don't you install this emoticon pack?
They look great:

Very nice emoticon pack, extra smilies with the "phpbb3" design. Thanks for the tip.

Installed!

I think this is probably my all-time favorite emote: Image

I am designing calculator keys to add to the list of smilies.Sometimes it is useful.
Of course, they will not be shown by default in bbcode editor but in a popup after click on "View more smilies".

Demo:

What do you think?

At the moment, the icons are too big :D.
The [cos] key could be improved, I looks a bit too much like a trapezium.
The rest looks really good

Ok, let's choose a size:

Size 1: Image Image Image Image Image (300)

Size 2: Image Image Image Image Image (325)

Size 3: Image Image Image Image Image (350)

Size 4: Image Image Image Image Image (375)

Size 5: Image Image Image Image Image (400)

Then I will have to improve the cos key, perhaps round off more the border?

Why don't you use CSS elements and custom bbcode instead?

@flyingfisch, very creative idea! :thumbup:
This would reduce the work I have to draw the buttons. However, on the other hand I would have to create for example a dropdown box in forum bbcode editor (for easy key input) and I have to use a tag like:
Code: Select all
[keys]shift[/keys]

instead of something like
Code: Select all
:keyshift:

Im not sure yet. I may try to round up more the [cos] key (and other similars) and then I will see the result.

Why don't you use shift as code? Or [Shift]?
