Balancing chemical equations just with matrices
Perhaps you have tried to balance chemical equations using traditional methods in school/college. Sometimes this process becomes a bit repetitive/boring and is easy to make small mistakes.
I found on google a pdf explaining how to balance chemical equations on casio calculators without any add-in/program, just using Run-Mat and matrices. The process is fast, reliable and easy. Is also possible balance equations containing charge!

Although it is in Spanish it is easy to understand because it has pictures.
See the exemple below:
Cr2O7{2-} + H{+} + e = Cr{3+} + H2O
Resolution on-calc:

The result is:
1 Cr2O7{2-} + 14 H{+} + 6 e = 2 Cr{3+} + 7 H2O
You can use this method in fx9860, prizm and classpad. Note that in fx9860/prizm the max size of a matrice is 6x6 and ident command is called identity.
Happy balancing!
