This is for the fx9869G slim (usually the opening to P104 is concealed by a piece of adhesive tape)
Always wondered what you meant by that... now I know!

I did never notice this small covered opening in the battery compartment and always thought you were referring to the PCB where this adhesive tape can be found at the bottom edge.
This is great "news" because you no longer have to open the device when the OS breaks.

Also note, if you have an fx-9860G or fx-9860G Slim with revision B hardware, then you can use [F2]+[4]+[AC/ON]+P-button followed by [9] and [x] on these machines.
