Calculator description field
Hi,
I don't like predefined lists.
I want to enter my machines' names manually. Is this possible?

Re: Calculator description field
Possible? Currently not, but I can do.
However, if I create a text box to enter calculators and remove the existing system, all users must reenter the calculators (again).
It is better to hear other users before taking a decision.

As far as I am concerned...I vote "no"! (@cfxm: sorry)
Moreover, I like a consistent vocabulary. The system as it is fits my needs.
I'll be back!

Hey helder7,
Could you give me administrator privileges, so I can kick Simon?
Thank you in advance.

I think he can auto-unkick the account because he is moderator

Anyway might be good idea in the future have more admins like other calc sites.

Casio fx-9860 GII SD Power Graphic 2 = fx9860GII SH4
if I rename it to Casio fx-9860 GII SD Power Graphic 2 (SH4) the name will be giant

I have not given my opinion.
Calculator description field: Show
current system: Show
By the comparison that I made above I think the site will lose quality if it adapt a textarea for the calculator description field.
My next priority (on the site) will be disable the bbcode parsing in downloads short description.
Then I'll take a look here.
