FX-CG20
I've bought a used Prizm CG20 from Gumtree which has a password set This prevents me from changing the Owner and ompany details I've got Casio chasing the problem who have passed it on to Japan Normal resets do not get rid of those details and I've also tried a number of key combinations which were like playing Twister on the calculator which also do not work Does the CG20 have a reset button or just the restart one? Does it have a backup battery as I'm trying leaving the batteries out for 24 hours? Can anyone help please?

Re: FX-CG20
Someone once played a prank on me on my fx-CG50 by setting his name with a password I didn't knew, and resetting did nothing (thankfully, he gave me the password afterwards), so I'm afraid I can't see any way of changing this without having the password...
Is there no way you can contact the original owner?

I don't have my calculator at the moment to make sure it works, but I'm pretty sure that the Utilities addin by Gbl08ma (https://gbl08ma.github.io/projects/utilities/) provides some way to read the current password.

Re: FX-CG20
Visit edu.casio.com and update the calculator OS to version 1.04 or higher.
Turn off the calculator.
Press [F2]+[Up]+[AC/ON] at the same time.
When the window appears asking you to remove the user name, hit [9].

Re: FX-CG20
Just tried, and yes, Utilities by gbl08ma (direct download) can display the current password! (among plenty of other cool things... wow, how come I didn't know this add-in before?)
Once installed (just put the G3A file in the storage memory root) and set up (it will ask date/time information at first startup), go to M&S (Memory & System), then check "System Information", and press F1. You should see the username, organization and password.
