Casio fx-9860GII SDK help!
I'm new around here, and yes, new to the more advanced models of Casio calculators and I am absolutely stumped when it comes to using the SDK. I was wondering if you guys could help me.
I click on "Project", "New", then click some random path to project, press Okay, and then it comes up with "No program file could be found in the project! You might need to build the project first."
I click "Okay", then go to the "Project" tab, then click "build", but then in the "Local variables" box, it says:
"** L2011 (E) Invalid parameter specified in option "input" : ""C:\Program Files..."
...
And then at the bottom:
"ERROR: Process failed with return code: 1
Build was not successful."
So I was wondering how can this be resolved. I would be very grateful for any help
Thanks in advance!

Re: Casio fx-9860GII SDK help!
Considering the error "** L2011 (E) Invalid parameter specified in option "input" : ""C:\Program Files..."
you should check first, if you installed the SDK in a directory "C:\Program Files..." which name contains the string "(x86)".
The SDK does not like parentheses in directory names.
If so, install the SDK in a directory with a name without parentheses.
Otherwise, this should be the normal procedure at first startup:
1. You start with

2. then

3. after "Project new" enter some directory

4. you should enter the project filename. default: default.g1w

5. this message is OK

6. the default main source should be default.c (with the context menu "show editor window", you can edit this default source frame)

7. after "Project build"

you should check first, if you installed the SDK in a directory "C:\Program Files..." which name contains the string "(x86)".

I'll be back!

Re: Casio fx-9860GII SDK help!
When installing on a 64-bit machine, the installer has a bug which causes it to still install to the Program Files (x86) directory instead of Program Files so I had to manually copy the files afterwards to the Program Files directory and run the sdk from there.
