TEXT on FX-9860 GII SD power graphic 2
Hi all i am sure this question has been asked several times but I am really struggling to find the right program to transfer text files to my calculator. Can someone please direct me to the right area and also I am very poor with computers so a step by step guide would be handy. Thanks
Re: TEXT on FX-9860 GII SD power graphic 2
When you say "text" file, do you mean a .txt or a file with text inside ?
For the second option, you have several possibilities :
1) Use the EAct Maker to convert it in a .g1e or .g2e
2) Use FA-124 to create a new program and past your text in it, then save it as .g1m
Once you've your file, you can transfer it to your calc using FA-124 using this tutorial
I hope this will help
PS : If you don't have FA-124, you can find it in the first message of the tutorial

You could convert your Word-documents into pure TXT-files and view these files with NOTEVIEW.SGM114 wrote:Hi Cartix:

(NOTEVIEW for fx-9860).

You could use FA-124 or a SD-card to transfer the G1A- and the TXT-file.
Here you have an excellent tutorial: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1455

Save your MS Word-document as TXT-file using MS Word. Copy the TXT-file to some SD card. Finally copy the TXT-file from the SD card to the calculator (if I remeber well, NOTEVIEW can process files directly from the SD-card, though the SD access is a bit slow).
I'll be back!
