You have selected the storage memory in fa-124?

Hi Helder : yes sorry i am being stupid but yet again the noteview is a g3a file is that ok?

No, that is for Casio Prizm (calculator with color screen). The correct file for fx-9860 is a g1a file.
As you have difficulty using fa-124, I will suggest you install the noteview from the SD Card. The file transfer tutorial for fx9860 (link previously posted in this thread) also explain how to do. I think it is easier than use fa-124... though after you use fa-124 by first time (... file transfer tutorial helps ...) you will transfer files intuitively without any tutorial and you will find it simple.
